Awesome fish! I am right there with you. My every day fishing is on golf course ponds with a three weight for little bass or a one weight for gills. It never gets old.

Five years ago I would have reccomended an RWS 34 .22 pellet rifle, which I love. Now I would say buy a Gammo Nitro piston also in .22 , which is cheaper and quieter and put a BSA red dot on it....

I actually did that to Sage RPL. I broke about an inch off the top in the trolling motor mount. I just sanded it off and rewrapped the tip guide and I couldn't tell the difference.

If you want a cheap but excellent light weight rod I can't say enough good about the Reddington CT 3wt. They are on sale for $75 at Cabelas. I and many other board members have and love these slower...
