Re: Abel Creek Discontinued?

As I understand it the Creek Series has been discontinued. I believe I had read that here and when searching Abel's page, saw that they're no longer listed. There are still some to be had if you...

Re: Tacky Fly Box

I didn't test it with dries, but I'd have to imagine that anything from a #14 and smaller will be just fine but this also depends on the fly and the size of the hackles. A quick look at the website...

Re: Tacky Fly Box

I looked at them last weekend at the fly shop. When you put a fly in there it holds well and when you take it out, there's no sign there was a fly in the box. I also tested the box with some salmon...

I don't have this particular line, in WF but have it in DT on a 3wt WT. That rod is slow-medium and it's a really nice match. I am fishing the Supple Tactical in WF on a medium fast rod and it too...

I've been using the Simms Wool gloves for the past few years and like them better than any of the other fingerless gloves I've tried. Go figure. Any 100% wool fingerless glove will do.

I fish during the winter months with fingerless wool and fleece gloves. I carry 2 pair, one of each, with me at all times in case the first pair gets wet. Wool will provide insulation when wet but...
