I am pretty sure it's a medium fast action... I woild say for trade value 250. Perfect condition and rarely used. You can make an offer on trade.

Thanks for advice. I typically put my indicator around middle or higher up on the leader. . Then drop about 3-4 feet of tippet to my first fly with weight being 12 " or so above that. Then also drop...

I have been using the 4-6 wt leader I believe. Using 5x tippet dropped off there with different nymph set ups.

I switched to using a furled leader last fall... it seems like since I've switched the fishing has been bad.... I'm using a cutthroat brand leader and then adding 3-4 feet of tippet for first fly... ...

I usually run 5x tippet.... I have tried to move split shot around and does seem to help. I have noticed if im not dragging bottom I usually dont have much luck with fish..... I have not tried to...

Being still new to the world of fly fishing i notice i lose alot of flies.. Generally when nymphing... Today we went out and i lost 7 or 8.. It annoys me but seems like i either snag bottom too much...
