I like uplocking seats on my carbon fiber and down locking on my fiberglass - they just seem to balance better that way for me.

I wear a shirt I picked up at Cabelas that has an inner pocket to each chest pocket and carry a fly...

I have an 8' 3 wt Avid that is 10 yrs old and a 8.5' 5/6 wt Imperial that is 20 yrs old. I use the Avid for dries or light nymphs and the 5/6 Imperial for everything else. The Imperial works great...
