I guess no one wants to do this because...

Re: Hardy Reels

I am developing a love affair with Hardy reels. Love the noise they make and the simple looks. That, and the fact that I am sure it will be around for years to come.

I bought a mint St. Aidan and...

Question: while looking around and getting the stuff,...

Re: after much decision...echo I went

Thanks for the input. Echo lists a few different line options so I dropped them an email asking what they specifically list for the rod and what I specifically want to go for.

Im still trying to...

Re: Spey rods for bass?

After a lot of reading, I went with a 6 weight. Seems that it will be able to do bass and other warm water fish and then also some cold water.

Cool after much decision...echo I went

Bouncing back and forth between going with an 8 weight single hander or switch and I went switch. Specifically, I went Echo SR in 6 weight and 10` 10" guise. So, having entered the two handed world,...

Re: The Scott S4 Thread

Re: 8 weight - WWYB?

Sage Flight. I put Rio Grand line on it to slow it down for my cast. I could not throw regular WF5 at all with that rod. I put the Grand on there and it really woke the rod up. It gives more feedback...

Re: 8 weight - WWYB?

Asian or not is not something that I am worried about. As long as it is a quality rod. Thats also why I am interested in looking used. If a used Sage Xi2 is better than a new BVK and available for...

Re: 8 weight - WWYB?
