Yes, I just got hold of one. I heard this rod likes to be over lined one or two weights up. Did you find this true with the lower wts?

I heard they opened 2 gates at Spillway Creek and they supposed to remain open for the next 45 days. You may want to give the park a call to confirm.

Thanks for all the offers. But I found a great deal on a Beulah Bluewater 7/8. I've been happy with their spey rods I think this will do just fine.

No particular reason. I just got my buddy addicted to fly fishing. I gave him his first 6 wt Winston, and now he wants a 8 wt for when we go striper fishing here. He fished my 8 wt vt2 and casted...

I've ordered reels and lines from them, and had no problems. My buddy ordered a reel that was on back order. When he got the reel, they spooled it with new flyline with no extra charge.

Me too. Me too. Here's my first carp on the fly. I just started tying and caught it on a white deceiver of all things. I initially thought I had a decent striper since that's what I was targeting....
