I use both knots on a regular basis. I use a non-slip loop on streamers and large nymphs, I use a clinch or improved clinch on dry's and small nymphs.

Lots of great advice already given in the previous post’s. Work on the short game and the longer casting will come with time. As many already mentioned, most fish will be caught on shorter cast’s....
