If I fish by my house 1.5 minutes but its about 12 minutes to the closest boat ramp.

Try usia waders they have a bunch of standard sizes or will make them to your measurements. I'm waiting for a set to get here as we speak.

I have a 5/6- 7/8- and a 8/9 . For the price I think they are great reals. Iv'e had some pretty big fish on both the 7/8 and the 8/9 and they handled them well. The one thing I have noticed with them...

You might take a look at the Okuma SST rods, They are really good rods for the money and fit that price range. I don't have any experience with the fish you speak of but we have landed some good...

I was at work a while back cleaning out one of the barns we use for storage, when I came across the butt section of a 9'-9weight Lamiglas G1000. I asked the manager what he wanted me to do with it....

I bought one, I think it was under 20.00 off the bay. The frame bent and the spool would not turn the first time it got dropped (not a hard fall at all) I would steer clear if I was you.
