WTB spare spool for Lamson Litespeed LS2 (previous model)

Title says it: I'd like to buy a spare spool for the previous model of the Litespeed LS2. I could also trade an LS1.5 spool for an LS2, if that would interest you.

Thanks,
Alex

Bass Pro gift cards at 20% discount

Hi guys,
I have two $100 gift cards from Bass Pro Shops that I decided to sell for $80 each. I need to raise some cash because BPS doesn't carry the "toy" that I'd like to buy.

Cheers,
Alex

Re: Line for a 3Wt.

Hi,
I think a DT line would serve you better. Your fishing will probably be at short to mid-range; you don't need a running line behind the head. If you would of needed a rod to fish at long range...

Re: Fly tying saves money?

TS47 pretty much nailed it for me. Tying flies made me become a better fly fisherman.
I also enjoy giving away some of the producing flies and "teaching" others how to use them.

Re: Nymphing and weights

How about trying european style nymphing? No shots needed... The weight of the flies is all you use.
And you will probably catch more fish too....

Re: Fly Vise Help

Happy B-Day!
When I started tying flies I was advised to buy a true rotary vise and use the rotary function. Don't skimp on your first vise, get a quality one that could serve your whole life.
I...

Re: Prescription sunglasses

I don't like grey. Definitely amber for me, but I would even go to yellow or (I've heard) pink. Supposedly pinkish lenses give a great definition to under-water objects...
I think I'd like a pair of...

Re: Entry level vise and tools

I concur to what the other guys said.
When I started tying, I was advised not to skimp on the vise and scissors, and make the vise a true rotary one. I am very happy I listened to the advice; I...

Re: How do you keep them straight?

I don't have too much trouble identifying my lines because I don't have similar lines (with exception of the lake lines). It is not difficult to make distinction between a 0DT and a 3DT, a 5DT, a...

Re: Carpool to Arkansas or Fryingpan?

Hi guys,
I never fished the Arkansas and wouldn't mind meeting some of the members of this forum. I could drive or share the cost of gas. I live just north of Denver.

Cheers,
Alex

I have to commend Silver on his deep analysis of nymphing: Indi vs no indi.I totally agree with him.
I would also like to add that by Indicator, most of the fly fishermen understand a suspension...

Re: Splitting Flex-Floss for legs and tails

Thanks PT,
I've seen the Senyo dub in a fly shop but they had only 2 bright colors. Those strands are mostly curled too; not as bad as when I split the flex-floss.
I already have f-f in the colors...

Splitting Flex-Floss for legs and tails

Hi fellow tiers,

I like using Flex-floss for legs on my bigger flies; the problem is that for the smaller flies I need to split the strand and after splitting it becomes curly. Do you know of a...

Re: Euro nymphing rod

Hi,
You are probably fishing the Vrain and the Big T. (at least most of the time). A 4wt would be overkill for those waters. A 10ft 3wt would work nicely.
I have a 10ft 3wt and a 10 ft 2 wt...

I have an older Brodin Gallatin net with the "soft mesh" netting. I landed multiple big fish up to 27 inches without problem. You shouldn't have any issues with flies getting stuck in the net if you...
