One thing I gotta say is korkers are very very comfy! It's nice to change soles too. Third year using mine and they are still going strong, and I use them A LOT!

For me I just caught my first sunfish/bluegill/perch/bass this year and I'm addicted. Alas the closest warm water is 50 minutes from me. Trout I'm 4 blocks away...

I would carry ants, foam ants are a must for alpine lakes I tie them 18-14s. Black and Brown. The rest of usual suspects look good.

Not a fan! People have other experiences, and might tell you it's made by Rio so it's as good. You can catch fish, but your line will sink, both 30-60$ prestige/+ I owned got gritty feeling even...

I haven't checked regs this year, last year they were asking a harvest on all trout but Cutties. Glad you kept that laker :thumbup: it's crazy the impact they have on natives.
