Char = salmo = trout. That Char familly includes also...brown, Atlantic (Salmo salar), Actic, Bull, Dolly Varden...and them silly little brookies, to name a few.

I am typically pretty stable and with miles of wading including high flow mountain rivers and streams, I can probably count all my falls in less than one...
