Re: Sage ACCEL

God I'm glad I do little in the way of single hand rod fishing! Great reads above but these rod makers have used every letter in the Alphabet assigned to one rod or another.

Wink Re: Tippet rings or perfection loop?

Furled leaders came into the discussion because this is the first place most folks will have any experience with the rings. I suspect most conventional fly fisher's have never even seen one. And yes,...

Re: Sinking Lines use weighted flies or not?

95+% of my fishing is in moving water so take this with a grain of salt (vs. still water). Agree with the 'how deep do you want to get' with still water fishing but in moving water a weighted fly off...

Re: Tippet rings or perfection loop?

I'm a tippet ring man, especially with furled leaders. Change out of tippet material just takes a set of 'nippers' and no alteration of the leader is otherwise involved.

These tiny rings will not...

Not to worry Jim. Trout fishing is something really rare here in Centeral Southern Oregon. But most of 'what works' can be directly transferable to Steelhead and Pacific Salmon.

And that's the...
