Re: GAS prices are FALLING!!

Well, now I'm beginning to see Idaho isn't the only one still @ about $2.95/gallon. Seems the Central West/Pacific Northwest is being left outta the loop here. Hope we see some resolution on this. ...

Steve's post on the Davy Knot prompted me on this issue. Having cut my teeth on nymphing in Utah, I often used double nymph rigs. One idea that came up on a couple of occasions was whether to tie...

Re: The Davy Knot

So Steve . . .

For a long time Turle knot user, is the the Davy Knot a better deal? The list of advantages you mention are largely reasons I fish the Turle knot -- using it quite often on double...

Thumbs up Re: Were are all the Ladies?!

Agreed on the tying Joni as I've enjoyed some of your flies in at least one if not two swaps from another forum. Very nicely done.

I'm also convinced that my wife would outfish me hands down if...

Thumbs up Re: Roll casting help needed

In my experience, the only thing I'd add to what Doug has described is that the longer distance you're rolling your cast, the higher I try and keep the loop coming off the rod tip on the forward...

Question Re: 5 weight gw griggs 8' & the "Dig Me" Factor

My first rod after my buddy-borrowed Cortland Fairplay ;o) was a WW Grigg 9' 5wt rod. The GX Curtis mentioned. Still moving into the sport it has been a great rod for a variety of occasions. The...

Red face Re: Prefer to fish Mayflies, Caddis, or other?

Re: Prefer to fish Mayflies, Caddis, or other?
