Not getting my hopes up too much, but the forecast for Lafitte later this week is light winds and mostly sunshine--Could be a site caster's dream--of course, it has said that on trips in the past...

Hello Dorian. I have my favorites, but I believe redfish will hit just about any pattern. I love kwan flies, spoon flies, and my Bayou Bengal and kwan spoon patterns.

All things considered, I would say May through August are the best months...for planning a trip anyway. Now granted, if you hit an April or October, just right, it could be the best, but if you are...

Gentlemen,
I'm new to the site and first of all, just wanted to say hello.
My favorite form of fishing is with a fly rod, for bonefish and permit, however, I don't get the opportunity to do that...
