Hatch Finatic keychain $49.50

I have a few Hatch reels... I almost want the $100 nippers... A $49.50 keychain makes me feel like it's potentially gone too far.

Re: Bighorn mid July vs. Missouri end of June

Booked the Bighorn. I worked out a solo trip with some guiding and some wading and I am pumped about it. Will it be crowded? You betcha! I'm OK with it. I'm psyched. Now the 8 month wait...

Re: Bighorn mid July vs. Missouri end of June

****, lol. I was getting all amped up about the bighorn because I learned that I can get guided as a single for about $150/day less than the MO. For the mi I can afford 2 days guided and 2 wading...

Bighorn mid July vs. Missouri end of June

I'm planning a 3-4 day trip to chase trout on one of these 2 rivers. I plan to get guides and float 2-3 days and then and wade myself for 1-2 days. Both rivers say drift boat rental is easy etc but...

Re: hatch frame spool movement

I have a similar issue. I just sent my 5+ back for Hatch to check out. It's like the drag cassette has some extra space where it sits inside the frame or something. If you remove the spool and...

Re: Rio In Touch VS standard

Eastfly, the InTouch line is smooth but In my opinion something just feels different in the texture or coating. Doesn't make noise or anything. I can't quite describe it. Not really better or...

Re: Rio In Touch VS standard

Just got back from my Montana trip where I tried out the Rio In Touch Gold on my Hardy Zenith 5wt and the Rio Perception on my Helios h2 6wt. Verdict: I liked the lines! I enjoyed the 3 color...

Rio In Touch VS standard

I've still not seen many side by side comparisons of the Rio low stretch lines vs the standard Rio lines. Anyone make the switch yet? I need a new WF5 for my Hardy Zenith and like the Rio Gold. ...

Re: Somerset Fly Fishing Show 2015 Tackle Observations

At this show are there any "deals" on any of the new products or is it more to just see and touch them? Just curious.

Re: Hatch 4 Plus Finatic...My put it up for sale, then again...

I vote keep it. On the other hand if you truly do not like it, those hatch reels sell for so much used on ebay that you won't have to feel terrible about it, then get what you really want.

I...

Re: Hatch 4 Plus Finatic on Scott S4 6wt

I think you will love it. If you hate it you can have zero problem selling it on ebay. It amazes me how close to retail used hatch reels go for. I'm trying to buy a 7+ on ebay and can't find one...

Re: Old reel hard to seat on new Hardy rod

When I first got my Zenith I had a Lamson Konic on it and the feet didn't really fit. I just had to sort of wedge it in there. Looks like the perfect excuse to "upgrade" your reel.

Re: Line for Hardy Zenith 9' 4wt

Re: Mystic Fly Rods....

Gmarlin, I just did a side by side wiggle and the Reaper is stiffer. The Helios is obviously lighter in hand as well...and nicer looking... but then there's the cost issue.
