Had a few but ended up selling them on. Not a knock on the rod, I just didnt fish enough to warrant keeping them.

They have an almost cult following in fiberglass circles because of the quality...

Japanese floss is lies down much better, i.e. it is much flatter than the rayon, and is much easier to smooth out any bumps.

The wing on this guy is Golden Pheasant, Kori Bustard, and dyed goose...

The hooks i send are 1/0 smallest through 3/0 (biggest)
However, they are Gaelic Supreme hooks, which are great for learning on, though they are a fraction too long in the shank for the true size...

A few things to consider.

Tail sets the tone for the rest of the fly. Make you tail height equal to or shorter than the gape of the hook and you'll be "golden" for the rest of the fly.
