Re: Orvis Customer Service

While a few view the Orvis Company as an easy target because of price points and the like, you won't see any darts being tossed their way by yours truly. As grtlksmarlin-- aka Brad --pointed out,...

Re: The Two Reasons Why I Can Live With Tippets...

klunker,

The tippet dispensers are my way of keeping it simple. I can load up the spools just before the season and never have to worry about the range of tippet size that I have in my fly vest....

The Two Reasons Why I Can Live With Tippets...

Some weeks ago, I promised to post a photo of the two reasons why having multiple tippet spools in my fly vest don't drive me to drink. Here are the "twins..."

Re: Orvis CFO III by Hardy

fishing hobo,

If that Orvis CFO called my place "home," I wouldn't even consider any sort of paint touch-up. It's in great shape, especially given its years of service. Keep it lightly lubed and...

Re: My flies aren't pretty

I agree with Ard on those "special" flies that always seem to catch the eye of a fellow angler. I tend to be a harsh critique on all of my standard ties, as I strive for solid, durable and yes,...

Looking forward to your...
