Thanks guys got 25 yesterday afternoon. I need a tutor lol , there are some pretty big carp and some 2ft gar in there also but I cant get them to take anything. the stream at its widest is maybe 15...

Finally got back out

I've gotten out 3 times this year, finally the gills are back where they should be.
Dont be do hard on me I'm less than a year into fly fishing and tying. I tied this fly but don't know its name....

I looked at the hobby lobby but they don't carry much wool yarn. Any other idea's where I can find it ? Do you just use the wool like chenille ?

Lower Illinois, Okla

I'm going to go try the lower Illinois River tomorrow, does anybody have any
suggestions on what flies to use ? Any help would be appreciated. I'm guessing woolybuggers and maybe some nymphs.

Me and a co worker started fly fishing around June of this year. We spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to cast. Even had another co worker that had been fly fishing most of his life...

I just started fly fishing in July of this year, I just bought my third tfo. I think this addiction might take less time than crack. A 3wt,5wt and 8wt.
