No doubt!! I know I bought my fair share of stuff from the US when the dollars were on Par.... Good days!! I could actually get gear at a decent price.... And a little trip to the states didn't cost...

But its soooo bad for us.... All the gear has jumped up in price (I need a pair of waders and the already expensive 400$ simms are now...

I did all my university in the Sherbrooke area.

The magog river is not a river suitable for wading. I would consider it warmwater fishing personnaly although they do stock trout.

Allen Xa2 9' 8wt like new

I bought this rod in 2014 and used it maybe 5 times. I just don't have any need for this rod in my quiver.

It is a very nice Medium-Fast rod. It comes with an Aluminum Rod tube and a Rod Sock.

I started out with this 17$ Scientific Angler outfit + 30$ Scientific Angler Fly line. It is a 5/6 wt outfit and it was a very good combo to learn the cast and figure out if I like fly fishing enough...

Well, I bought both rods for a little more than I expected, but I still think it was fair and the lady is happy.

I got the Eponite for 80$ and the Series 800 for 170$ (that's CAN).

Echo has a new rod for 2015 called the Echo Base... I think its around 90$! Not a lot of reviews yet but Tim Rajeffs rod can generally take a beating!!

They do have the metal ferrules and Series 800 has a Gold plated tip and stripping guide. Really nice rods! The series 800 looks out of the box.
