That happen to me the other day while cleaning my truck, found a #20 midge in the passenger seat :eek: dang I missed out on the wife getting hooked on fly fishing :D

I learned a trick with Chap-Stick years ago that works great for lubricating a knot before clinching it tight. I use Chap-stick during the winter fishing months and found out if you slide your tippet...

I started building Bamboo fly rods about a year ago and I use standard Snake Brand guides except for the striping guides. I purchase Agatine stripping guides from Struble.
