It's great rod for large trout, landlocked salmon, or definitely bass in rivers. The scandi head I included is perfect for the rod...needs next to no backcast room. You can really cover the water...

gone to ebayI can't remember if I ever even fished this rod...there are not even any scuff marks on the male ferrule! It is an 8'4", 2wt rod with beautiful burl reel insert and gun metal gray guides...
