Re: New smallmouth setup, advice please

Anyone had any experience with a tfo axiom? I was looking at those as they are not outrageously priced and i have heard good things about them.

Re: Do you tell?

Like others, i would tell my close fishing buddies and not advertise it.

This is a touchy situation on many message boards when someone drops a name of someone else's "secret" stream. If i put the...

Re: saint croix avid

I have fished with an avid once and i thought it performed very nicely with a weight forward line on it. I also know people who have it and they are all very pleased. I've heard good things about st...

Re: Your Favorite line??

It has it's advantages beyond making long casts and agreed, i don't think i've ever casted that far except in the yard.

The main thing that i have found is that it makes casting effortless since...

Re: Your Favorite line??

I'll second the sharkskin. I have mine set up with a helios 9' 4wt. with a nautilus fw+ reel and it is sweet. I don't know if it's really worth the money, but it's the best line i've ever cast hands...

Re: Davidson River, NC

It gets hammered pretty hard and was in really bad shape earlier this year but luckily the rain has brought it up some. Fishing there can be finicky to say the least. You'll most likely have the best...

Re: Forney creek

What exactly are you wanting to know about it? You are making a good choice by going there. It doesn't get all the hype as some other streams like nearby hazel but it can produce just as well.
