I have three CT's in 8'6" length 3/4/5 and while I found the 9' 4 alittle tip heavy(returned it) the shorter versions are not so. IMHO . I plan to pick up the Allen Trout II at Somerset this weekend...

Ia trouter , Agreed with your comments with slight modification . For the size of water here in my location the CT is not a niche rod as I fish small double nymphs and short casts and it works well....

I need to say the mid flex Helios 1 rods are awesome and totally different from the H2. The 8'6"4 wght is my best rod in this size bar none.I have gone on record the midflex H1 cast more like the H2...

Thanks guys as basically that is my thoughts on their Heritage rod. A $209 rod worth twice the cost in performance and looks. Agree they have nailed customer service. Now which color to choose? Ha
