The Coho were just starting to trickle in. I was a week early:icon_neut. I did catch a couple though. I saw plenty of grizzlies....all were the perfect distance away, and by that I mean far.

Trip Report Kenektok River

This trip was in the works for over a year. I knew from the get go, that sipping wine in a lodge or bumping elbows with other anglers was not what I was looking for. After some research I chose an...

Re: Best private water Colorado

I think you are thinking Of Sylvandale Ranch. Unfortunately that stretch of river was hit very hard by the flood. I've heard good things about Boxwood Gulch.

Re: 4/4/14 Big Thompson-Estes Park

I had a pretty good day down in the canyon on 4-9. It was the first time I'd been outside the meadow area since the flood and was really encouraged by the amount of fish.
I've probably spent more...

Re: Anyone feel like fishing tomorrow?

Grey reef is merely a four hour drive. Let me know Larry. It would be fun to get a group from here together for some camping fishing and floating. Let me know if you plan to head that way.

Re: Ruedi-Frying Pan

Awesome fishery. The toilet Bowl, the area right below the dam, can get very crowded. There are some truly huge fish in there. I've had good luck with two white mysis, small split shot and an...
