well the weber was worthless.
thick,deep and fast.
alot of herons, and cranes. a couple of deer as well so
at lest it wasn't a complete waste.

how is strawberry? i have heard that it is under 20" of ice still and i have heard that the edges have already melted and the ice is receding quickly.

tying the royal's are a lot easier than you think. it takes a few times to get it right and when i started to tie them i tied them on a #10 just to get the hang of it and then worked down to the size...

the hit you get from a hopper just seems better than a slurp of the dries.

yeah, it seems that the wind would only stop while i was changing my fly, or moving through the water to get to a sheltered area, then bam,cold as hell wicked wind.

hit the provo yesterday. the sun was out and the wind down for about an hour, it was great. snowflies and bwo's everywhere. had a blast until the damn wind came up and shut everything down for me.
