Basketball kneepads. I've worn them for decades. How else can you fish in full-on stealth mode? $10-15 at your local sporting goods store.

Opening that Herter's box was better than a birthday sometimes. Stuff for me, stuff for my Dad. I still have my first vise from Herter's, and some of the tying materials as well.

It's not about instant gratification, it's about competing in the on-line marketplace. When your competitors outperform you they're going to take market share, and deservedly so.

I've used a couple of those with really nice catalogs, the problem is that they take so long to ship. Shipping an order on the third or fourth day after receiving the order is just not acceptable....

When it becomes apparent that you've got too much dubbing, strip the excess down the thread. You've got Charlie's book, he says " There's no law saying you have to use all the dubbing".
