anyone made a large guide net? i was thinking about a way to strengthen the throat. maybe a piece of brass on both sides and a stainless screw going all the way through

thanks to you all. i have neuropathy in both hands and it is hard to feel even the feathers so i think the v notch will work best. i did one this way yesterday it was just overdressed a little

i always have problems tying the legs on small nymphs.
using hungarian partridge or hen.
do you tie in 2 clumps one per side or cut a v in one feather and tie it in?
any youtube video links?...

ill wet wade in june but only for small periods of time depending on the river.
as long as you can be flexible about where you fish here you can almost always find good water at anytime of year...

i fish in the park quite a bit from opening throughout the tourist season until just before it closes. i never end up fishing with/by other people. there are so many rivers and miles of each river...

theyre monitoring it. probably too early to tell you for sure. but if you go up 20 feet above the creek that is carrying it into the gallatin youll be fine. gives you about 12+ miles of river to...

like to hear about any suggestions for a river/guide for steelhead in oregon
preferably around 'the dalles' area. smaller river where it would be possible to wade all the way across at points

visitors with 2 piece rods are very common flying into here with people carrying them on the plane. never heard about any issues. any given day on a flight in or out theres probably 2/3/4/5 people
