We have been a bit cold here. Last time on the river it was 22 deg and water was 38 deg. This morning the water temp was under 40 and no issues.

I have been fishing primarily 14-18 dry flies but have found that some size 8-10 hopper style bugs entice the bigger cutthroat.

On the Owyhee the game seems to be a 14-16...

Did ya go yet? No such thing as the Clearwater national Park. But plenty of fishing on the Clearwater and Nez Perce National Forests.

I am working in Hibbing MN on fire contract. Have tomorrow off and want to go flyfishing. 2-3 hour radius is just fine.

Always travel with a fly rod and there has to be fishing around...
