I just apply preasure. Often they are just setting themselves. I caught a northern yesterday that hit it like a sea monster. It was only about four or so pounds. But it was four pounds of pissed off...

Right, that is exactly what I am using. Each time a fish hit, it was hooked. Also I found that sence a shorter hook was being used, I got less snags. If fact I lost only one fly in two days, fishing...

Tube flies are tied on a tube instead of a hook shank. The tippet is then run threw the tube, and a short shank hook is tied to the tippet. Basically anything that can be tied on a hook can be tied...

Went out today at lunch and cought a pair of smallies.... One was 15 inches, the other 16 1/2 inch. The smaller was caught on a brown bead headed bugger, the other on a olive bead head/peacock hearl...

Maybe not. Were you fishing from the shore, or wadding? I like to wade just because I can get to many more places not avalible from shore. Last few days have been bad though. The rain has risen up...

I'd rty streamers, as they do like minoes, wolly buggers work great too.
