I use a 6wt Clearwater paired with a Lamson Remix and love the combo. Not as much fatigue as my 8wt for all day fishing.

Re: Abel - Tibor - Hatch

I like the looks of the Tibor Everglades. It looks like cons with Abel Tibor has addressed. Like the drag knob staying on the spool when loosened. Would you recommend the Signature or Everglades?

Re: If you had the $$$

Mostly larger streams and my neighborhood lake for panfish and occasional small bass. It looks like the H2 would be the better fit, thanks for the info.

Re: High end ultra light rod

Thanks for the info, looks like I need to take a look at Sage a little more. I've never fished a rod shorter than 7'6 so I'm not sure how the 6' would do. I'm also trying to decide between a 2 or 3.

Re: Need an 8wt rod that won't break the bank

I thought the same thing about the mangrove. So far the 3 rods that I've cast and liked are TFO Mangrove, Orvis Access and the Sage Xi3. Just always believed that you get what you pay for.
