why should it matter if the color fades when the fish dies? the fish will be painted after it is mounted. and I dont think taking one big fish out once in a while is going to hurt anything.

not wondering why is it a young fly fishers forum, but why is everything labeled youth? When read back it sounds as if placed in completely wrong context.... Its pretty annoying.

I remember being little, and always seeing the big bamboo fly rods that my grandpa made, all strung up and lonely, being onthe cranberry bogs in the summer, I'd sneak one out on some of the drainage...
