Re: Does anyone know something about this reel?

They go for under 10 bucks on Ebay. Some people like them. I think if you maintain it, you will find it acceptable. It is an American made reel, and they look like they are made to last, if you...

Re: I need the girl advise

Dan, I am just reading this. If you are just fishing for trout, a 4wt would be ideal. (in my opinion) If you are fishing for larger fish a 5-6 wt would be better, depending on the species. I...

Re: Looking at what new fly reels are out there now

Will, you have some good reels. I don't think after hearing what you have, that you will be impressed with the Flystart. I would pass on it. Sounds like you have some very nice stuff.

Re: Looking at what new fly reels are out there now

Will I have a Flystart. If you are set on one, I could sell you mine. It is a pretty good reel, I don't use it anymore. I think a Medalist would be better in the long run. If you want a good used...

Re: Daiwa 731A fly reel

I don't think my reel was used before I bought it. If it was, it could not have been used more than a couple of times. It was in mint looking condition.

Re: Haven't fished my old reels in a long time.

I love old reels. I also love them more when they are cleaned, lubed, and waxed. :icon_bigg Hot Sauce is wonderful, I highly recommend it.
