Fur and feather flies move and breathe in the water, meaning that they entice fish by just sitting there, any way you move them just adds to the show. keep that in mind

Apple Watch. Its all about having all the info I need at the moment I need it. Plus, I can put my phone in my waterproof wader pocket and use the watch to send/receive phone calls and text messages.

Anything with partridge hackle. I love pheasant tail nymphs with a partridge hackle, or even simpler an Olive vinyl D-rib body nymph with a partridge hackle. 18 seconds to tie and will kill fish all...

The Russian River is in that area, don't know the Regs for this time of year but its worth checking out.

Most of the coast out there is pretty steep and rocky, getting to the ocean to cast might...
