To be fair...$100K was for the original design and I'm sure included R&D. Once they get a couple models built and put into mass production I'm sure...

Delayed trip reports-3 famous waters checked off

Haven't had time post anything for a bit but as luck would have it I got to check off 3 famous Rocky Mountain river-stretches I hadn't gotten to fish yet.

I think we probably will do a pack-in trip on our own, planned on a couple backpacking trips this year anyway so this would be fun. (Not to mention save a couple thousand dollars)

On a more serious(sorta) note, that kinda cash would go a long way in a lot of places! Figure $3,000-$3,500 when it's all said and done, and you bring in several places you...

If one fails, which one will you have a better shot at getting replaced? I like Fishpond a lot. Even though their stuff is made in China, I've yet to have experience a quality issue with any of it....

I'm not sure what camping is allowed right next to the lake, but I do know there is no fishing allowed. I don't believe you are allowed to touch the lake actually.
