If you search the forum, there's a ton of info on furled leaders. Both Joni and Cutthroat also sell them. You can hit either of their sites should you want to obtain one.

I think Swirlchaser's doing a Gurgler. We did have a duplicate pattern but I think stl_geoff just switched to a Shannon's Streamer.

I personally don't mind having a duplicate so it's all good...

I saw the length of the spey leaders - 13'. When I make my leaders, they shrink up at least 10% when you start furling. That means at least a 14' jig to wind it up. I can tell you I'd rather buy...

I actually spent the weekend looking at catalogues for both material and equipment...

BUT...I already have homework from the panfish fly swap and I have not one but two rods showing up in the next...
