Re: Renzetti Jaw Question

Thank You guys. No oil it is.
Got a kit (spring, bearing, o ring) coming from Renzetti since you guys said no oil. Something goofy going on with cam. It started rebounding back from tight setting...

Renzetti Jaw Question

Do those of you that have a Renzetti vise oil the cam or spring area of the jaws?
If so what oil or lube do you use?

Re: Fly fishing Yosemite NP

Last time in Yosemite I talked with a Ranger about fishing regs. They were mostly restrictions for certain segments (from point A to Point B) of the Merced River (main river across valley floor)....

Re: Wtb fish cat or fat cat

I've fished from both approx.4 yrs ago. From my weak memory both were good. The biggest differences were the Fat Cat you were sitting above the water with storage behind the seat.

Re: Fly tying bobbins.

All I use are the Rite and Tiemco bobbins. It takes some time to change a spool on a Rite so they are loaded with common color/sz (black 6/0; 8/0). I've got a half hitch but never use that feature so...

Re: Black Nymph (Don Martinez)

The tough good hair to find is for Comparaduns. Probably best to have someone in a fly shop pick it for you.
