Well made it there and back. Decided that we weren't going to stay in 11 mile canyon so we went down to the Arkansas River and stayed at Ruby Mountain Campground. Fishing wasn't bad but wasn't great...

Riverside Campground, the first one up the Canyon, is open year
round.* Water and trash service is not available this time of year, and our
Hosts do not begin their work until the middle of May....

You mean until then its just old fashioned camping, No camp host, no water tanks, no trash service. You can still camp there outside of the Peak season when they have Trash, camp host, and water...
