Re: Long Rdds

I know what you mean! A few months ago, I took the plunge and stepped up to a 9'6" 6wt. sage. Having used only shorter rods in the past, I was a bit nervous on how I would acclimate to a "long rod"...

Re: light weight fly rods

I used to have a Sage Launch 3wt. I mainly used it for crappie and bluegill when I lived in WI. If I remember, I think it sold for about $200? Regardless, it was definitely a fun little rod that...

Re: Need/Want a new Spey Rod

Thanks! I really appreciate the heads up on the reel situation. What's a good Cortland line to use, I will be fishing for steelhead in the Northwest.

Need/Want a new Spey Rod

I just sold my old 9wt Sage VT2 in order to raise some funds to purchase a spey rod. I was wondering what a good rod to purchase would be. I am thinking that I would like to keep the rod under...

Spots on Puget Sound, north of Seattle

How's everyone doing? I recently moved to the Seattle area, north near Edmonds. I have tried (unsuccessfully to date) to catch a few fish offshore in Puget Sound. I have only fished Richmond...
