Re: line/reel suggestions for Scott F2

I've never tried the 774/3 but my 602 really likes Airflo's super dri elite, believe it or not my 653 likes a Rio Gold, I think you would like that super dri elite on that rod.

Whats the worst cork you've ever seen?

I'm just curious, I've got a rod from a well known maker that casts like a dream but I've never seen cork this bad.

Re: Galvan Brookie

The Brookie is 1.5oz lighter, just be careful that it's not too light for your setup.

It's not the best video editing tool but here's (https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/how-to/video-editing.html) a few basics, you've probably already seen this.

Re: Portrait of Author Norman McLean

I read it in the early 80's also, there was something about it that just hit home, the movie was alright but nothing like the book. Thanks for posting.

Re: Great Lakes Smelt

In Maine the smelt populations are also down, I can't believe there is no limit on them in the Great Lakes, here we are only allowed two quarts a night. They are an invasive species up here but they...

I was out (in the snow) the other day with my new 6wt glass rod, I just couldn't get it going, I could feel the fatigue in my shoulder, I knew I was applying too much power, finally I slowed my cast...

Re: Galvan Brookie

They aren't heavy if that's what you mean, but I wouldn't want a 4.5oz reel on my 1.5oz F2 either, the two lightest reels I know of (and I'm sure there are more) are the Brookie and Sage Click, I...

I've got the 8'8" 3wt. with a gold on it, I've tried others but it likes the gold. I definitely wouldn't get the GPX without trying it first.
