If you want a great rod for small stream ck out a Loomis gl3 in 7 1/2 4 wt a fantastic rod you can find the on the bay for around $150.00 a real joy. To bad they are no longer made.

Zenith if you can find one last year model . I got a last season model for 1/2 price , but I have a Nrx also if you like both than price would dictate choice, both great rods.

Rubber is not the answer. Tried those by Simms with or without cleats they will get you killed in the rivers I fish .the states that ban felt will they have felt police on the river given out tickets...

A new rebirth fad. The ones I have held same slow rods. Didn't like them when they first came out don't like them now still have my original fenwick haven't been fished in 30 yrs.

I remember seeing those several years ago. I thing Regal marketed these also under the Regal name also. Must been in the 80's. I was a Regal dealer in that time frame. Sorry I can't be of more help.
