Didn't run the fly rod but think tonight i might try the 5 wt with sinking line and a beadhead wolley to try and find some, or maybe try and target some pike.
Anyone have any reports?

Early season panfish

Small and medium lakes are open here in Brainerd and hopefully will get out tomorrow with the new five weight. Gonna check some shallow dark spots and run with woolie buggers, and.......suggestions?...

Just wanted to say hello to all the upper midwesterners, i am a new flyfisherman. I have been busy working small lakes around brainerd and nisswa for bass and pike this summer and am addicted.
