Plenty soft. I just pulled it back out a minute ago to look at it again and rolled some through my fingers. One thing I noticed is that the fiber is really short. Deal breaker?

Live in Boise, but grew up in SE Idaho. Taught to fly fish by my dad on beaver ponds and creeks. First thing I learned was how to roll cast, which has served me well over the years.
