Yikes, please let us know how the EF is doing, I have been wondering myself and how it fishes, I havent been out there in a few years. Most of our waterways are either stagnant or at late fall levels...

Don't beat yourself up to badly, I was up in the mountains today around one of the "rivers" in the San Berdo forest and sadly to say, I have never seen the water this low even for late in the season....

That creek is running very low right now. I havent fished that water since April of last year... I am hoping for some wet weather to come through so I can go back.

I have used that fly up in Golden Trout Wilderness on the Eastern Sierras and caught lots of fish. Could also be that the Goldens were eating anything that looked buggy too :)
