i have been tying with the hends products for the past few years, awesome material to work with....anymore about 90% of my flies are tied with the body quill

I thought u were aloud to use a hook that was debarbed. The points are design different then a normal style hooks, some have a needle point other have a up curve to them...it takes a very small...

i dont use the hanak but i do use the umpqua comp hooks that are made by hanak. I really like them nice and sharp like u said, i also use the hends hooks. I have had issues with allen hooks bending...

i just tied a few of comptons torpedo, fished it a few days ago did pretty good on it...seems to get down pretty quick also

I fish mainly 6x-7x and the main creek i fish has some very big fish in it and i dont really have a issue with them...i have landed a bunch of 20"+ fish on 6x with out a very long fight, i think alot...

Allens bend why to much for my liking, i use alot of comp/barbless hooks...my main ones are TMC, Umpqua, Dohiku, Hends and i also use alot of daiichi hooks...just like anything else you get what you...

thread body nymph tied with olive thread is about the easiest fly to tie and its quick and deadly, i catch a lot of fish on that fly
