Pike Musky swimmers

Been playing with tube style tails on my big flies. These are on 80 lb mono. Total this makes the flies around 12 inches long.

I do typically go slower and run stuff deep, but i concentrate on the deepest slowest pools. Often the fish move there in order to get out of the current. Being neutral and non active, this saves...

I use an 8 weight as many others do, I throw 10 weight lines on it for the extra grains to push foot long weasles. Any larger rod tires me too much. I use Temple forks TICRx and Axiom, entry level...
