I second the 11' rod. The longer the better!

At least thats what my wife says...she doesn't fish though so i am not sure what she is referring to.

7' 3wt Yomogi
8' 4wt Morgan

Both are masterfully crafted and out of the 20 or so rods I own, the Yomogi is hands down my favorite.

I have a 9.5' 5wt that i use for slinging larger bugs and streamers out west. I have it overlined with a 6wt line...

Small waters are some of my favorite water to fish. If there are trout in them, I will fish them.
This came from a wild trout stream in PA that was no wider than 12' in most places.

Lots of creeks have Brookies in them. I fish Kinzua Creek alot and enjoy that. You can also fishe the Allegheny right below Kinzua Reservoir for some feisty browns.
There is a lot of fishable...

I dead drift buggers under either an egg or nymph pattern for GL Steelhead. Finish the drift out and then let the flies swing. It's like a double edged sword...don't get them on the dead drift,...
