pro tip 1: In a lot of big pools there are spots where bubbles/suds collect near the very top of the pool. FISH THOSE. drag your fly through the junk and 9 times out of 10, you will get a strike....

Another thing i have been wondering about. Right now I have just a regular Orvis steelhead/salmon floating fly line on and i typically throw bead head flies or put a split shot or two on the line...
