Re: Looking for a good book

Re: Soon I'll Go From This................

Boise has had Portland's weather for the past 18 months. My yard needs mowing and there's another week of rain on the way. It'll be knee high by the time I can cut it. Oh well, that's why I have a 7...

Re: How do yall hold your tippet spools?

I made my own spool holder from a piece of braided 3/16' nylon rope. With the ends of the rope melted, I stack the spools on the rope. An old sink washer keeps the spools on the bottom and it's tied...

I have a Princeton Tec with 3 white LEDs. I been using it mostly for duck hunting and camping for about 5 years. I did manage to break the clasp for the battery compartment, so it's taped shut with...

Re: washing materials

I have lots of feathers and hair from critters I've harvested myself. I have had some spectacularly bad experiences with wings or hides that had too much meat or fat left on them. I've also had wings...

Re: Beginner Waders

I'm on my third set of Cabela's G-II's. I also waterfowl hunt in these waders. I think they're a good deal. I had to be insistent about a warranty replacement once: I had a set that was leaking...

Re: spare spool alternative?

Quad-tip systems are pricey, but they're easy to change out and give you 4 lines.
Since my reels were all "entry level" it wasn't expensive to buy the spare spools. I wrap them in old boot sox for...
