Sink tip pike musky line

Looking for a rec for a sink tip pike musky line. any recs that people might have? this would be for an 8 wt. looking at the rio pike/ musky line and the rio outbound short intermediate.......

I know you havent been a huge lamson fan but the speedster3.5 might fit the bill. i have the 2 and the narrower spool is nice. not in same ballpark strenght wise of the frame as the hatch. but mine...

I have both the 4 and the 5 wt. I would have to say for what you are looking for the 6 is a better rod. The five is a great dry fly rod. I have to agree that the 6 is a really sweet rod. ...

I am going to try the perception on my 8.5 4 wt. Will let you know how it casts/ and fishes next week. Shop where I purchased the rod recommended both with some guys in the shop preferring the gold...

Another sweet six to consider is the T&T solar. Have that rod and love it. Might be a bit too powerful for your applications but would be worth a look.

well Ive had the winstons for a few years. just added the one and added several solars. (6,8,8,9,10,12) from a deal i couldnt really pass up. Really like the solar six and the eight is really sweet....

Curious if anyone has this rod and fished it. Looking at a rod to compliment an 8ft 9in 4 wt winston LT. Havent cast the radian yet as i dont hacpve it locally. Thoughts?

I have several Hatch reels. Beautiful reels. A bit on the heavy side but indestructable, great drag, great sound, and beautiful. most od my are the silver color. I do have a 3+ which is black...
