Thanks for the info. Are you at all familiar with Gourmet Fly. Here's their website. I'm thinking that the Pyrenees might be the best bet for me. Could be a quick detour. Thoughts?

i have been using the simms stockingfoot base pair of wiaders they carry. they run about 150. I have had them since 04' and havent had any problems, but i only fish about 40-50 days a year.

I have the TQR in a 5wt 6' Its pretty easy to cast, dont expect to get more than 70 feet of line out though. good action for a shorter rod I reccomend it
